| Burkina Faso National Preparations In preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Government of Burkina Faso is establishing a National Preparatory Committee, which is expected to be formed by June 2001. The Committee will be composed of representatives from 6 government agencies and 9 Major groups. The Committee will be chaired by the Minister of Economy and Finance.In addition, Burkina Faso is undertaking its national review and assessment of the progress made in the implementation of Agenda 21, which is expected to be completed by 26 February 2001.
