| Denmark National Preparations In Denmark, the UNGASS Committee serves as a National Preparatory Committee for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, involving Government representatives, NGOs, trade unions, business organisations and other major groups representatives.The Inter-Ministerial co-ordination of the preparations for the World Summit is the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in co-operation with the Prime Minister’s office; the Ministry Economic Affairs, Business and Trade; the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environment. The overall Danish positions are established in a government committee, comprising the Prime Minister and the Ministers for Economic Affairs, Business and Trade; Foreign Affairs; Finance; Justice; Employment; Food, Agriculture and Fisheries ; Defence; Environment and Interior Affairs and Health. In preparation for WSSD, Denmark is preparing a National Strategy on Sustainable Development.
