| Japan National Preparations In preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Government of Japan has announced that it will be establishing a National Preparatory Committee. This Committee is expected to be formed by May 2001.In addition, Japan has completed its national review and assessment of progress in the implementation of Agenda 21. __________________________________________________________________
