| Korea National Preparations In preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Government of the Republic of Korea has established a National Preparatory Committee.In addition, Korea is undertaking a national review and assessment of progress in the implementation of Agenda 21, which is expected to be completed by the end of May 2001. The government of the Republic of Korea is also launching the "national initiatives" proposed by the Summit Secretariat to ensure greater participation of all partners. __________________________________________________________________
