Mexico National Preparations

In preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Government of Mexico has decided to establish a National Preparatory Committee. This Committee will be established shortly. A wide range of groups of civil society, including environmental organizations, the private sector, academic institutions, local authorities and indigenous communities, among others, will participate in this Committee.

In addition, Mexico is undertaking a national review and assessment of progress in the implementation of Agenda 21.
