| Russia National Preparations In preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Government of the Russian Federation has established the Russian National Committee. The National Committee will be chaired by Mr. G.O. Gref, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation. Deputy Chairmen are Mr. M.M. Tskinov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Mr. S.E. Prikhodko, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.The National Committee will include representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, The Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the State Duma and the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, as well as other governmental bodies and representatives of the business community, academia, and non-governmental organizations. The National Committee will co-ordinate all the national preparatory activities for the World Summit in the Russian Federation and Russia's participation in the preparations to the summit at the international level. __________________________________________________________________
