| Uganda National Preparations In preparation for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the Government of Uganda is in the process of finalizing a National Preparatory Committee, which is expected to be established in March 2001.In addition, Uganda is undertaking its national review and assessment of the progress made in the implementation of Agenda 21, which is expected to be completed by September 2001. Other preparatory activities include extensive consultations from local to national levels involving various stakeholders including civil society. Specific projects are also being undertaken.
